This is a great and spooky piece attributed to Karel Appel, signed in lower right and dated 1958. His small but squatty man image is quite an eyefull.
This piece is a mixed media with paper cutout applique and gouache type paints. Signed K Appel and dated 1958. It is on a thick wooden board. Nice colors. We have no provenance on this piece and therefore we are selling it 'in the style of' and are pricing it accordingly. If you can authenticate it who knows??
